Montezuma Audubon Center To Collaborate With Local Wineries

Support Local this Season with Birding and Wine Tasting Excursions

SAVANNAH, NY (May 25, 2024) – Join the Montezuma Audubon Center for various 
winery collaboration programs in the Finger Lakes region featuring Apple 
Station Winery, and Fox Run Vineyards. These programs include a 1-mile guided 
birding leisure walk around the wineries’ properties, a guided tasting 
experience by winery staff with pairings, and a live bird of prey presentation 
from Daena Ford of Braddock Bay Raptor Research. Participants must be 21 years 
of age to join us. Individuals who are just interested in the birding excursion 
and live bird of prey presentation are encouraged to join us.

Here is the list of program dates & locations:

Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Apple Station Winery (5279 Cross Road, Cayuga, NY 
13034). The whole duration of the event will be at the Apple Station Winery 
property starting at 10am.
Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Fox Run Vineyards (670 State Route 14, Penn Yan, NY 
14527) The whole duration of the event will be at the Fox Run Vineyards 
property starting at 10am.

An Audubon educator will lead the guided birding excursion and be present 
throughout the programs. Each program will have various meeting locations 
listed on our registration pages and explained before the event. The winery 
programs range from $35 - $40.
