Hi folks
I haven't attached the flyer announcing our upcoming summer interpretive
walks at the Refuge (given by yours truly) due to its size. That being
said, here's the flyer's message in print. Hope to see you on one of the
walks.
Pete Saracino/ NY State Master Naturalist Volunteer
P.S. The dates are
June 15 & 22
July 6, 13 & 28
(Please note the 28th is a Sundsy)

"The North pole of the Earth now tilts toward the Sun allowing our star's
radiant energy to fall more directly onto our planet's surface. Energy that
had its source deep in the sun's core now finds expression in the growing
life around us. Come join us for a walk with New York State Master
Naturalist Volunteer, Pete Saracino, as we explore this surge of new life
while investigating the many and varied strategies organisms have devised
to acquire their own special share of that precious solar energy. We will
seek to identify the life we encounter (plant, bird, mammal, insect, fungi,
moss) while exploring some of the facinating connections between all living
things. Binoculars and sunscreen are advised. All ages are welcome."
