Candidates should have deep understanding of networking/firewall concepts particularly in Juniper SRX and/or Checkpoint devices, experience with NSM and Provider 1 management stations is a plus; computer skills and ability to use common office applications, and with desire to learn operations over a large complex environment; In addition, engineers are required to analyze customer requirements to ensure standards, policies and guidelines are upheld from the information security perspective and support routine compliance activities. Also desired is a strong analytical and quantitative capability This position is for a Firewall Engineer, not a network engineer -Security Operations experience -Juniper *firewall* skills, preferably JunOS but ScreenOS okay -TCP/IP skills and network troubleshooting -Checkpoint experience, preferably Solaris and SPLAT -Checkpoint Provider-1 and/or Smart-1 experience -Juniper NSM Requirements -Exp. with day to day operations of Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls.. -Required competence in the supported technologies, exp. with networking and TCP/IP, competence in Linux/UNIX, -Excellent oral and written communication skills.
