*Location: Lincolnshire/IL* *Duration: 3-6 Months* *Interview Mode: Phone hire only* *Keep in CC my gmail id **rahul.rish...@gmail.com* <rahul.rish...@gmail.com> *Key Responsibilities:* · Support and maintain a High-Availability BPPM /ProactiveNet / BEM environment ensuring consistent integration with BMC EventManager · Install, upgrade, configure and troubleshoot ProactiveNet / BPPM and other systems management tools · Assist in the configuration and maintenance of the event management environment · Develop enhancements to BMC product implementations · Develop and test automations in the monitoring tools · Provide consultation to client support teams in analyzing reports and metrics · Maintain a good understanding of Systems Management products and industry best practices and function as the product manager for the various Systems Management products used at the client · Troubleshooting, changing or disabling existing monitors and notifications · Manage Systems Management projects and participate effectively in other IT projects · Focus core skill around the BMC tool suite but assist with other Systems Management tools · Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base of Systems Management information · Perform capacity management and planning for BPPM environment · Provide On-call support for systems related to the role · Continuously improve the environment to maximize value and service availability *Qualifications:* · Able to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace · Able to troubleshoot and research issues, using outside resources such as technical forums and knowledge base's that are available through the internet · Able to multi-task and work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment · Adaptable; able to adapt to changing business requirements and react quickly · Strong customer focused and results oriented attitude · Superior written and verbal communication skills · Good project management skills · Self-motivated individual, able to work independently · Develop relationships and product experience with strategic vendors · Effectively work with team members in a geographically distributed team · Build and maintain strong relationships with customers with a focus on operational excellence · Prior experience deploying and configuring BMC products for integration into ProactiveNet / BPPM / BEM preferred or experience with any BMC (PATROL / Portal / BEM / TMART) monitoring products · Possess a solid working knowledge of Windows Server and Unix operating systems · Experience integrating monitoring events from multiple sources, including custom monitoring tools · Background with other Systems Management tools (AlarmPoint, OmniCenter, IR360, EMC SMARTS / Ionix and WILY (or other APM tools) is not required but would be considered a plus · Any experience with Mastercell Rule Language (MRL) and Basic Recorder of Objects in C (BAROC) a plus · UNIX and Windows Server Administration skills.
