*Location: Mossville/IL* *Duration: 36 Month(3 Years)* *Interview Mode: Phone & Skype* *Responsibilities:* · This position is for a software development engineer. · 90% of the day to day work will be coding in C++ and 10% will be spent with unit testing. · While an engineering environment might be preferable to an IT environment, the manager is mainly looking for candidates with serious time coding in C++ with experience in designing and testing significant code, not just writing code snippets to tie pieces of code or systems together. · In this position, the candidate will work as part of a team of software developers under the direction of lead engineers to develop segments of a Windows based software program used in the servicing of earthmoving equipment and power systems. · In this position, candidate will define software requirements / specs, design/code/test, using Visual Studio for Visual C++ for the Windows OS. *Required Skills / Qualifications:* · A BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science is required. · Good working knowledge of Visual C++ language and the Windows OS development environment · Desire to work in a team environment · Good interpersonal and communications skills · 1 or more years of experience developing C++ software · Basic exposure to the Linux OS and / or HTML development is desired.
