Duration: 8+ months The Senior Python Engineer will have technical experience in: - At least 10 years of experience with Python &/or Unix shell scripting - Expert/senior level engineer with strong, in-depth troubleshooting experience in OS, application and java issues - Needs to be able to work independently and is self-motivated. - Should have extensively worked on distributed systems - Experience with using version control repositories such as CVS/Subversion - Experience and specific skills in Hadoop Core and Supporting Services, MySQL and/or Security (Kerberos/LDAP). Each candidate does not need all of these additional skills but they need to be strong in at least one.
