This position is responsible for Data reporting, Data Integration, converting customer requests into technical details, and ensuring deliverable commitments are met. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of the project. The candidate should have proven experience developing successful Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI and Integration stack. Education: Master's Experience: Required Skills: * Lead the development of advanced BI applications using the MS BI stack including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, T-SQL/stored procedures as well as MDX. * Analyzes and improves existing dashboards, reports and reporting systems. * Architect the ETL leveraging SSIS, analyze and improve the existing SSIS packages. * Designs and develops Business Intelligence solutions using multidimensional cubes. * Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI and Data Integration solutions. * Works closely with the Data Architecture team and provides technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications. * Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing of BI solutions. * Develop technical documentation for the ETL's, BI reporting based on the functional documents. * Develop support transition documentation. * Provides training and expertise to business users and other stakeholders on utilizing SSAS cubes for their reporting needs. * Identifies problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines. * High level of proficiency with Microsoft stack of development tools like .net, asp.net, SQL server 2008, 2012, web services, visual studio 2008, 2010 etc) * High level of proficiency with oracle databases. * Strong in Ansi sql, any experience with data visualization tool is plus * Oil and gas experience is a plus Preferred Skills: Microsoft stack for Data Integration and Business Intelligence,Data Virtualization tools like Composite etc Certification: Any certifications is a plus Thanks, *Zaid Mohammed * IT Recruiter Seven Hills Software Technologies Inc Carnegie Office Park, Building Six 800 N.
