*Required Skills:*
Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, we will accept
equivalent in education, experience, or both.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience with open stack technologies including
Java, J2EE, *Grails*.
Experience in unit testing via *JUnit *(required)
Exposure to *CI* tools like Jenkins and *UDeploy *would be a plus
Strong technical experience working with *JBoss*, *Oracle*
Advanced understanding of full life cycle development.
Advanced understanding and experience working in an *Agile *development
environment
Knowledge and exposure to the Atlassian suite of tools would be a plus
(JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye).
Strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management
skills with consistent attention to detail. Advanced understanding of
analytical techniques such as logical data modelling and process modelling.
Attention to detail, ability to understand the big picture and ability to
identify creative and effective solutions to complex business problems.
Ability to effectively learn and use new programming concepts, tools, and
methodology to support the needs of the business.
Strong functional understanding of WMS functionalities is a plus.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies and systems development best
practices.
Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to work across functional lines and at many levels.
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus building skills.
Advanced presentation (written and verbal) communication skills. Ability to
effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of
business.
Ability to effectively share technical information and train and mentor
less experienced or knowledgeable team members.
High level of teamwork skills (communication, ability to share ideas and
solutions for work challenges).
