*Position:-Senior Android Mobile Developer * *Location:- Costa Mesa, CA 92626* *Duration:- 4 Month Contract* *MOI:- Telephonic Hire Only* *Need GC or USC* *Summary* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* - Leads Android mobile developers while working closely with product managers to conceptualize, develop, build, test and deploy native Android mobile applications across Client product line. - Ensures the delivery of solid, high quality, documented code in a timely manner - Demonstrate architectural and design skills with an emphasis on OOAD and design patterns. - Works effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment - Clearly articulates thoughts and ideas both verbally and in writing - Accurately estimates project based on interface wireframes/desired functionality - Applies and shares knowledge of current Android development trends and new technologies - Helps establish continuous integration and configuration control tools such as Git or SubVersion - Helps establish integration with web services: XML or JSON. - Understands Android UX and works closely with the design team to ensure UI designs are aligned with the current Android UI guidelines - Understands the resource constraints of mobile devices and implements robust and efficient solutions with respect to battery life, CPU and memory. - Is comfortable writing and debugging multi-threaded code and will understand the various issues surrounding asynchronous code on Android. - Designs and writes technical specifications - Analyzes requirements, determining technical approach & technical design, determining effort, and providing deliverable dates for projects and enhancement requests. - Collaborates with Technology team members to design and develop web application and data processing functionality. - Documents product functionality, supporting QA and deployment activities, troubleshooting production defects. - Builds prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects - Optimizes performance for the apps - Keeps up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies - Explains technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Attends industry events/ conference – both attending and presenting - In depth understanding of Android’s frameworks (i.e., Volley, GCM, Guice…etc) - *In depth understanding of authorization protocols (oauth 1.0, Facebook Connect, etc)* - Applying security measures to protect the company’s and the customrers sensitive data - Develops code compatible across different devices and multiple OS versions *Qualifications* *Education and/or Experience* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience. - Requires experience with Android stack (Java, Eclipse, Android Studio and Android SDK) - Extensive knowledge of app design patterns and best practices - Experience working in Agile methodology and using a workflow tool such as Rally, Jira or similar - Familiarity with build automation tools (Gradle, Ant, Maven) - Experience developing custom views and widgets - *Social network app integration (facebook, google+, twitter, etc)* - Proven commercial software development experience in mobile - Published examples of mobile applications on the Android market - Excellent knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction and usability design principles - A track record of delivering successful consumer and or business products - Ability to use analytic data and user testing to inform design decision - A passion for new consumer technology and the emerging media landscape - Ability to multi task and good time management skills - Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team - Excellent scoping and estimation skills - Excellent testing/ QA skills - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments locally and internationally Vijay Saraswat Talent Acquisition Executive Tekshapers Inc. |1441 E Maple Rd,Suit#301,Troy,Michigan, USA Tel Off: 248.565.4747 | Ext. 108| F: 248.254.7211 | Email Id: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <hgul...@tekshapers.com> | W: www.tekshapers.com GTalk: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <ras...@tekshapers.com> * Please consider the environment before printing this email.
