You'll be responsible for supporting the Java Development Environment - including tasks such as: server configuration, performance measurement, performance tuning, disaster recovery and other day-to-day as well as strategic planning functions. This is an exciting high energy, fast-paced environment for an individual who enjoys working on strategic and mission critical projects. *Requirements:* · . Extensive WebLogic Administration experience utilizing versions (8.x, 9.x, 10.x, 11.x, 12.x) · . Strong JBOSS Administration experience (clustering & performance tuning) · . Knowledgeable in Apache, Tomcat, IIs, and iPlanet Web Server administration · . Oracle and TIBCO experience is a big plus · . Experience with JDBC, JMS, WebServices, Security standards, LDAP, SSL is important · . Strong UNIX / Linux background with solid Shell Scripting skills · . Extensive knowledge of the JVM (JDK 1.4, 5 and 6) · . Good knowledge of multi-tiered application environments (Web, App and DB connectivity) · . Strong experience working in clustered environments · . Knowledge of general Enterprise System Management software, performance analysis, capacity planning, system & data security, backup & recovery, networking communications · . Must be available for frequent after hours extended support to meet project deadlines; Also there are regularly scheduled weekly overnight maintenance activities · .
