*Hope you are doing great!!* * Please find the requirement below **,* *If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume with details to this email id s.dak...@esskay-inc.com <s.dak...@esskay-inc.com> and I will get back as soon as possible.* *Position : **DevOps Engineer* *Location :**Irving, TX* *Contract: **12+Months* *Rate:$60-$70/hr* *If H1 Please submit along with H1 copy* *Responsibilities:* - Will spend 40% of time in design spec review and test plan development, 30% of time in guiding junior members and rest 30% in development and test. - Provide day to day technical guidance and hands on help to engineers. - Expected to participate in all the phases of product development cycle – product definition, architecture, design, scoping, planning, implementation and test. - Validate APIs between internally developed module and partner solutions. - Will be responsible for deployment and validation of one or more orchestration, configuration, deployment, management and provisioning functions. - Define the performance and characteristic requirements for the system *Required Skills:* - An excellent understanding of DevOps methodologies and good understanding of modern DevOps platforms using Dockers etc with at least 2+ years of experience in validating a large product/service using DevOps - Extensive experience with test simulators and developing automated test scripts. - A good understanding of Cloud architecture, software development and Agile methodology - Proficient with software development tools/environment such as Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, GIT etc. - Experience with configuration tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar is desirable. - Strong fundamentals of distributed systems development, tools and designs - Strong knowledge of API design such as Netconf/YANG, RESTful API, XML APIs, and SNMP. - Technical experience in NMS system architecture for telecommunication domain. - Solid understanding of network protocols including NFV/SDN and tools for system side diagnostics - Proficient in TCL/Python/Perl/Unix shell scripting language - Excellent Linux Understanding (i.e. Systems Administration and Engineering expertise) - Strong understanding of VMs and Linux Containers. - Experience with distributed computing and Software Registration systems such as Cassandra/Zookeeper - Demonstrated understanding of failure mode analysis - Excellent communication and problem solving skills - Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees across the business; ability to influence and negotiate. *If you are comfortable with position please confirm the rate and fill the details in below template and submit along with resume.* Legal Name Contact Number or Alternate Number Email Id Visa Status SSN (last 4 digits) Location Preferred Location Availability -- Thank You!
