Position: TIBCO Developer

Location: Grapevine, TX

Duration: 6+ Months Contract



TIBCO JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the TIBCO Developer develops and supports Client
Store Systems and assume responsibility for administration, documentation,
support and troubleshooting of these systems. This position participates in
all phases of the software implementation process including both package
and custom development. Software development processes will include
requirements gathering and analysis, functional design, technical design,
coding, testing, implementation, and post implementation support .
Associate may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week,
perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine
activities may require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

· Work with the Client SOA Architect and Integration Architect to ensure
integration solutions operate within and comply with the Client’s
enterprise SOA governance framework.

· Mentor integration developers inside and outside our organization in
integration and TIBCO best practices

· Collaborate with multiple development teams and organizations to design
integration solutions that meet their functional and delivery needs.

· Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and network engineers to assign
with design, expansion and maintenance of our integration infrastructure.

· Collaborate with quality assurance teams and other development
organizations to design test strategies and deploy test environments that
meet the needs of their projects.

· Educate our customers and partners an all levels of the organization on
our integration strategies and design patterns.

· Develop integration solutions that meet business functional and
non-functional requirements.

· Develop integration solutions that are feasible, secure, maintainable,
extensible and meet any other design considerations that will vary by
project.

· Assist development managers with scoping and estimating solutions for
proposed projects.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

· A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering
or other related degree required

· At least 2 years of application analysis, design, development and
maintenance experience that includes TIBCO BusinessWorks and TIBCO
Enterprise Message Service.

· 2 years of Agile software development experience preferred

· Experience running TIBCO BW, EMS and PM on Windows and SQL Server

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills using spoken English,
including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying
levels of expertise throughout the organization and with potential business
partner

· Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others and conduct
working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the
organization

· Ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary
teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks
and concerns to management

· Proficient local syntax SQL (Standard Query Language) skills with the
ability to understand relational data models

· Ability to understand and apply basic software implementation methodology
concepts

· Working knowledge of web services and SOAP

· Working knowledge of effective problem solving and identifying innovative
solutions, including new products

· Proficient analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate existing
or proposed new solutions for potential flaws or improvement opportunities
– including alignment to departmental goals and standards

· Demonstrated solutions development ability, including innovative
thinking, creative problem solving, and the ability to execute quickly
while maintaining high quality expectations

· Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple,
overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities

· Ability to remain highly effective under stress, and respond to pressure
in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

· Demonstrated ability to develop and support scalable services
technologies with strict SLA’s and high throughput

· Commitment to client's policies and procedures, including but not limited
to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical
responsibilities

· Working Knowledge of Retail Systems and processes preferred
