May serve as team member or module lead for low to moderately complex projects. AE is expected to multi task and should be able to work on multiple tickets at any given point in time. Performs system analysis, technical support, and drive system enhancements. Identifies business processes needing change, performs gap fit analysis and suggest alternate solutions. Maintain documents per Siemens requirement. Imparts training to users and team members. Provide support. AE is expected to travel to different business site if required. *Area of expertise :* *AE is expected to have expertise in the following Areas of SAP*: · All functions of Production Planning and Execution; Engineering Change Management, Document Management System, Variant Configuration, Plant Maintenance, APO DP and APO GATP. · Should have good integration skills with other modules and external software, should be able to configure the system, define functional specification for enhancement. · Familiar with production planning in a modification (postponement) environment including specific knowledge of the Modification Monitor tool and the interaction between modification processes and SAP APO GATP and SAP DP in the Siemens Industry US customized backorder processing environment. · Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas Plant Maintenance *Volume expectation:* · the AE could be working up to 20-25 maintenance tickets (closed per Siemens SLA),10-15 CRs, 5-10 project tickets, 2-3 problem tickets and other support service tickets in a month. · AE is expected to follow Siemens procedures, tools and processes e.g. IMS, PMO and other IT processes. · Based on the tickets assigned AE is expected to deliver his/her work within agreed SII IT SLAs. · AE works closely with the team manager and other Siemens IT managers and teams in a cordial way ensuring timely completion of the tasks assigned *List of any customer specific requirements* Experience in Discrete Manufacturing environment. Experience in following process Make to stock (MTS) Make to Order (MTO) standard and with VC Make to order with Engineering Kanban Serialization and tracking Rework/Repair Plant maintenance processes Interface with APO; MES.
