If interested, Please share your *updated resume (Word Format)* along with expected *hourly rate* with Tax Terms *C2C / W2*? *Position: PeopleSoft HRIS Consultant* *Location: San Jose, CA Duration : 6-12 Months Contract* *Job Description:* JOB TITLE: Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst Primary function: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the report generation, data entry, data integrity, application administration, support and maintenance for the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This position will work with multiple database systems to provide end-users support, testing system changes, analyze data, and make recommendation for process improvement. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* · Assists with systems development, upgrades, and project enhancements · Proposes, develops, tests, implements and evaluates modifications and/or additions to HR systems · Oversees functional testing for all HR system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance · Ensures data integrity through process improvement, audits, uploads, maintenance and documentation · Resolves issues as they relate to processes and systems · Develops and generates custom and ad hoc queries as requested · Creates and run scheduled queries for end users · Responsible for day-to-day, ongoing maintenance and process tasks within the system including import loads, accrual adjustments, creating new locations · Serves as a liaison between HR team and payroll, IT, Accounting, and others with regards to HR systems and enhancements · Responsible for functional testing for all HR systems, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance · Supports and participates as a project team member in ongoing HRIS implementation projects · Creates user guides, system workflow, and standard operating procedures · Assists with development and delivery of end users training *OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Performs other duties as required *QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS* · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or related field · *2 years of experience involving extensive data reporting/analysis or database management* *· HRIS experience required, preferably with PeopleSoft 9.0 * *· Prior experience developing and generating reports & analytics; ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas of opportunity * *· Strong technical skills including advanced experience with Microsoft Applications* *· Strong SQL report writing skills and analyzing various reporting functions within HRIS systems* · Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience driving projects to completion *WORK HOURS* The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, typically 8:00am- 4:30pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. A HRIS Analyst may be required to work overtime, holidays or weekends. *WORK ENVIRONMENT* While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a controlled-climate office. The floors may be tiled or carpeted. The noise level in the work environment is low and hearing protection is not needed. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a HRIS Analyst to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The HRIS Analyst is occasionally required to walk occasionally around the office to access files and office related equipment. There is constant sitting required. The HRIS Analyst is infrequently required to bend, squat or kneel when performing work activities such as accessing files and documents. The HRIS Analyst must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds when handling office materials. Infrequent lifting of up to 20 pounds is required to perform daily tasks.
