Dear all it`s with great pleasure that I`d like to introduce Pierre el Khoury and Mohamed Darwish, two distinguished lebanese lawyers who have been working with us for the past months. They have just signed MOUs with CC for Lebanon and they will be our two legal leads in the country. I`m honoured to be working with Pierre and Mohamed who are both great lawyers and great persons! Please welcome them on board and for those who are attending Qatar meetings you will have the opportunity to meet them there inshallah I also would like to thank Tony Feghali, head of Olayan Business School at AUB, for having worked with Pierre and Mohamed on the organization of a two days event which will take place next week in Beirut, we do hope to have him soon on board officially as an affiliate too! For the moment, a big thank for his great support and energy in helping organizing the conference launch at AUB which will feature *Lawrence Lessig*, the founder of CC, in the Levant for the first time ever. He will give a public lecture at AUB on the 25th Oct, followed by our Ceo Joi Ito. We`ll celebrate together the official launch of the Lebanese chapter of CC and this will be an exciting event, so pls spread the word and join us! I kindly ask Pierre Tony or Mohamed to send us a web link asap with all the info about the event so we can share on twitter FB and everywhere on social networkds I also know many of our great Lebanese artists are organizing a big party, a CC Salon #2 for the evening of 25th pls guys post the poster and info as soon as they are ready. Thanks so much to all of you (a long long list of people, including Ayah, Celine, Maya, Naeema, Jon, Barry, Bassel, Chris, Habib and many others) for organizing this party which is going to rock beirut on 25th evening! On the 26th Lessig will be lecturing at the Lebanese Bar, this would be a very much in-depth law conference tackling many legal IP related issues. Not sure if this is open to general public but I`m sure Pierre and Mohamed can give us more info.
