Thank you Dona for the announcement and to everyone for their wonderful feedback. It's an honour to have my design selected for the CC Global Summit logo. I've been over the moon since I heard the news. I'll get a public link for the design out to everyone as soon as possible. I hope that having an entry from CC Arab World win the design competition will help give more exposure to the Creative Commons and open content in the Arab world as well as give the CC Arab World community a boost within the global CC community. I especially hope that any such exposure could also contribute to getting more publicity for our friend and colleague Bassel Khartabil. The real win for our community at the Global Summit would be for Bassel to be free and able to attend it.
