Timothy from CC HQ here. I'm writing to let you know that Sami Ben Gharbia will be stepping down from his role as Regional Coordinator for the CC Arab World community. Sami feels that he currently doesn't have the capacity to give the position the time or attention it deserves. Naeema will therefore be taking over as the sole Regional Coordinator for the immediate future. Sami will continue to be part of our regional community, but will no longer have the a formal role. We are aware that the staffing uncertainty over the last few months has meant that our Arab World community has not received the communication or support they deserve from CC HQ staff. We apologize for this, and will support Naeema as much as we can to remedy this. We ask everyone that they help Naeema in her new role as the sole coordinator.
