If you're talking about
http://api.creativecommons.org/docs/readme_dev.html#support-jurisdictions it's 
no problem to support translations in the API -- the translations are done by 
affiliates as part of the license porting process.  Anyway it is probably best 
to use those translations -- there are sensitivities around the naming of 
certain jurisdictions.
