Sorry - thought that the Creative Commons codebase was canonical :-(

I'll use the Sourceforge zips in future.

hmmm, I just downloaded the zip for 5.0.1 and the cc-config.php is from
version 11181 which includes a fix for exactly that issue. I ran this new
install without any problem.

It looks like the checkin previous had caused this error on nov. 11 at
4:17, but it was caught and the fix was checked in on nov. 12 at 4:07 and
the 5.0.1 zip at sourceforge is dated 40 minutes later.
