Hello Scott,

In confirming my answers to Lab 39, section 4.7 with the Proctor Guide, there is reference to a routing loop formed when redistributing RIP into OSPF on SW1 (R&S Proctor Guide page 737).  For some reason (that I hope you can explain to me), my hardware does not show this behavior.  The explanation states that R6 has received the original routes from SW1, but how could that be when R6 and SW1 have no common routing protocol between them?  Did I miss something along the way?

Also, I think that R&S Proctor Guide for Lab 39, section 4.6 may have a typo in the offset-list entered into SW1.  The explanation states that the offset-list should modify the routes to R1 to be 14 hops, but the actual command has 15 in it, which drops the routes from R1…

Thanks,

Kevin
