Depending on your terminal program, you can configure a key to map to the TELNET_BREAK special character which will send it over the terminal server.
Secure CRT allows this with the keyboard mapping feature. HTH, Scott Morris, CCIE4 (R&S/ISP-Dial/Security/Service Provider) #4713, JNCIE #153, CISSP, et al. Can anyone tell me how to do the <control>+<Break> sequence needed for password recovery over a Cisco terminal server? I'm using a 2509 with my home lab with IOS 12.1(25), and I can't break into the bootup sequence when accessing my lab routers via terminal server. Because my lab is at home, I can just console up, do the <control>+<Break> sequence and it works fine, so it's not a problem for home exercises.
