Is one a DCE cable and one DTE?  Have you set clock rate at the DCE end?

Purchase a DB60-DB60 cable.  Many vendors have them (or ebay for quick
searches).  Cablestogo.com, anthonypanda.com, stonewallcable.com all have
them.
