We summarize IPv6 exactly the same way we do IPv4! Break it into binary
and draw a line from there. Your line is 6 bits in from the right-most side
(where the /64 was).  So 64-6 = a /58.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] IPV6 summary

Hi all,

I have the following addresses:

2020:100:100:2200::/64
2020:100:100:2220::/64

2200= 0010 0010 0000 0000
2220= 0010 0010 0010 0000

what is the bit weight for the above bits and how we got the summary below?

2020:100:100:2000::/58

regards

Khalid
