I'm not entirely sure what's up with the digarams. That was a change that
happened mid-way through production, but certainly should have been updated.

Here's a quick PDF of the diagrams, and I'll make sure our productions going
forward are correct.

The voice vlan, that's entirely my fault (apparantly 100 on the brain
instead of 1100)... I have updated the configuration files as well and
we'll have the in the eBook as well.

If anyone on the list has this ebook and needs the updated version (my
apologies) just contact the [EMAIL PROTECTED] and customers will get a
copy in their account.

If you have any other questions on things (or god forbid spot any more
errors!), please don't hesitate to contact us!

Thanks! And enjoy the labs!!

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] CCIE R&R Workbook Vol 1 Lab #1 question

Hello,

I have a couple items regarding the Proctor Labs CCIE R&S eBook Volume 1.

I don't know if it is any big deal but the diagrams that I downloaded seem
to have a few wrong IPs. Nothing major, but take a look at Diag B. I
noticed the F/R says
4.8.24.0/24 and it prolly should be 4.8.45.0/24. The links from R5, R6, and
R7 to the ISPs all have 4.X.X.X and probably should be 24.X.X.X. On Diag A
I believe the F/R IP is also incorrect. These aren't major, but I wanted to
point them out.

I have a question regarding Lab #1 Solution, section 9.1, page 90 on my
printout. I see we are to create VLAN 1100 for use as a voice vlan but the
solution says to create vlan 1100, then assing the ports to vlan 100. I
looked at the final configs and they also show using "switchport voice vlan
100". I am wondering if that is a misprint and if the correct vlan is 1100?
If 100 is correct we seem to have created vlan 1100 and not used it.

Thanks much in advance.
