Proctor Labs customers -

For some reason - people either aren't reading correctly or are
misunderstanding the explanation outlining what occurred this morning with
the Proctor Labs online vRack solution. This morning, at approximately 9:30
AM EST, there was an unexpected, wide-spread power outage that caused power
at Proctor Labs to turn off, on and off again (surge / flicker). Due to
this "different" type of outage, our UPS "brain" (that tells the natural gas
generator to turn on) - fried, without turning on the power generator.

There is a generator and UPS solution in place - it just didn't
function as designed. Our support team and instructors have been verifying
all hardware and are near completion - with everything back up and working
properly. I have contacted the vendor that sold us this solution - and as
they explained it - even though it was tested and worked - the flickering of
the power could have caused this uncommon error to take place. Needless to
say - they are looking into fixing this so it doesn't happen again.

I'm not sure how CCOnlineLabs came into play in the previous email
exchanges, but they are not a replacement to Proctor Labs, nor are they the
same company (nowhere close). They are a 3rd party (separate) website ran
by Tony Schaffran that provides online rack rental supporting various CCIE
training vendors including the IPexpert topology (rentable). So Tony, to
answer your question - "yes, there is a generator for all of that
equipment". As you know (or can read on the Proctor Labs website) - we have
invested nearly 4.5 Million dollars in a state-of-the art datacenter and
hardware offering - we've got things under control here, but thanks for your
concern.

I hope this clears up the confusion.
