Hi Wanted to get something basic clearified .
If in a question ; we are asked to configure a router so that EIGRP uses say
40 % of bandwidth on serial interface .
we know that default is 1.544 mbps on a serial .. are we supposed to do 0.4
* 1.544 and configure that under serial interface
i.e
int s0/0/1
bandwidth 617
or we need to say int s0/0/1
band 1234
taking into account of 50% funda of eigrp ?
Please clearify as these small quest can sometime create confusion
