"As written", the task does not explicitly tell you to redistribute from OSPF1 into RIP. Also, the lab intro does not state the need for reachability from any to any, so technically it is not required in this particular case.
For the actual CCIE lab, I would make sure to read very carefully, and make sure to ask the proctor for clarification.
