The fa1/2 was likely a typo not removed.  :)  Nothing was ever plugged into
that port.

Fa1/0 is a trunk, so you need an SVI (that's a feature of the NM-16-ESW
module). That means you need to consider R2 within your spanning-tree and
trunk assignments with other switches!

I can't get connectivity up between R2 and R4 on vlan
241

how is R2 supposed to be configured for VLAN 241?

I see the initial configs have an SVI for VLAN241 and ip address assigned
there, but there are no ports in the vlan, and the port fa1/0 on R2 is
supposed to be a trunk.

So why are we not doing sub-interfaces on FA1/0 for the two vlans like all
the other routers?

And why did the Final solutions put fa 1/2 in vlan241??
