Don't be so sure... Here is the equipment list:

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/rs/lab_equipment.html

The lab exam tests any feature that can be configured on the equipment
and the IOS versions indicated below. You may see more recent IOS
versions installed in the lab, but you will not be tested on the new
features of a release unless indicated below.

    * 3725 series routers - IOS 12.4 mainline – Advanced Enterprise Services
    * 3825 series routers - IOS 12.4 mainline – Advanced Enterprise Services
    * Catalyst 3550 series switches running IOS version 12.2 – IP Services
    * Catalyst 3560 Series switches running IOS version 12.2 -
Advanced IP Services

Now... Read what it says... "The lab exam tests any feature that can
be configured on the equipment and the IOS versions indicated below".
This means that anything that is on this equipment, within the feature
blueprint of course, is fair game.

Nowhere in here does it specify that you will have one, two, three or
four switches of any sort. Just that you will have at least one
switch (minimum) which will be either a 3560 or 3660. Furthermore it
does not specify what number of 3725s or 3825s you will get. You may
get all 3825s or all 3725s. Anyone who has mentioned (despite it
being common knowledge) has breached the CCIE NDA if they have said
you have four switches of any sort...

I'll continue... What difference does it make if they are 3560s or
3550s anyway? You should know what the different defaults between the
equipment types are and work accordingly. I personally couldn't care
less if I was hit by 3560s, 3550s or any combination thereof.

Cheers,
Matt
