All scenarios are different and lot of mathematcial "combinations" from all these protocols is possible.
Redistirbution is the hardest part and the most challenging because routes lost the real "seed" or identity . It invovles mask, admin distance, route-type, the redistributing router-id and metrics. So please learn case by case and cover scenario. There is no single matrix table is possible and I do not know of. If you understand the calculation of metric or hops or algorhithm of each protocol using it, you are halfway. Then how to tune them while doing redistributing and also filtering between them, you almost ready. Then you just do practice , practice and practice. I hope it helps. thanks Prakash From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Date: Sat, 20 Jun 2009 11:34:59 +0300 Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] routes matrix Hello all, Can you please provide a matrix that cover all route types and how to distribute between them. Also, I need your help to include the factors and figures in order to prefer route over other such as cost, bandwidth, etc. Please help.
