If you are using Linux then you need to use the Linux Paths The .NET file tells you which lines are for Linux and which are for Windows. The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head is windows vista doesn't enable the telnet server/client b default. You need to enable both of these and then re-install dynagen or GNS3 whichever you are using. If that is not the problem please provide details.
