Hi Vishal As pointed out so many times
[A] Broadcast medium is compatible with NON-Broadcast << Both require DR/BDR stuff [B] P2P , P2multipoint , P2multipoint non-broadcast are compatible . For Bringing up adj and exchanging the routes (both) ; you must have compatible OSPF netwrok types at both ends . When u are doing at one end ; other end is still NON-Broadcast . Hence adj will come up as timers etc everything match .. But no routes will be exchanged due to non-compatible network types . Although this is not written in any of standards ,, but this is always a golden rule to keep in mind Best Regards Gaurav Madan CCIE # 23863 On Sat, Sep 19, 2009 at 6:23 PM, vishal bhugra <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello Mates > > > I have very simple topology R1 connected to R2 on frame-relay network and > no sub-interfaces are configured. > > My question is when I configure ...
