Like said before. You can't emulate switches in Dynamips (GNS3). There is a workaround which let's you configure about 80% of the switching topics, which is the etherswitch module for a router the NM-16ESW. If you are preparing for the CCIE, these will do for most of the topics. If you are preparing for the BCMSN than you really need to be confident with the differences in configuration on a switch and would want to practice on real switches. For that exam though you don't really need heavy switches as a 2950 will do for most of the topics.
