Some clarification is appreciated....
Do we need the command below when configuring authentication with standby ?
interface xxx
standby 1 authentication md5 key-chain <key>
The command shows up in CLI but it does not give a suggestion of any parametrs.
Watch below:
R5(config-if)#standby 1 authentication md5 key-chain ?
% Unrecognized command
If I decide to go ahead and assign a value anyway, it takes it though...
R5(config-if)#standby 1 authentication md5 key-chain 1 ?

The DSG solution when authenticating HSRP with MD5, shous only the key-string
<string>.
R5(config-if)#standby 1 authentication md5 key-string ipexpert
That is all we need to use HSRP & MD5, or somehow we need to create a key like
we do with RIP/EIGRP?
