Dont start drugs now to help sleep... Bad bad news. Especially
narcotics and similar drugs. If you must start now, use melatonin
and/or 5-HTP. Melatonin makes you sleep... Its naturally occurring.
I will spare you the neurochemistry lesson, its hard enough trying to
explain Cisco related stuff here at the best of times. Short version
- don't take stillnox or any other "sleeping tablets"

Stay off the grog for the next two weeks, maybe a glass of wine with
dinner and thats it. Drink shitloads of water, but not enough that
you turn into a piss factory and need to get up every 5 minutes during
the lab.

Any more alcohol than one a day is too much (yes, I drink a hell of a
lot more than this). You would be surprised how you feel after three
days with no booze. Try it and see.

Also, a decent nights sleep before the lab is equivalent to about 9
months of full time study. Sleep well - you get a bonus 9 months
worth, sleep poorly and you may as well have not bothered for the past
year.

Cheers,
Matt
