Hello, Could anybody explain me why the maximum diameter in RSTP is 7? I have found this information in Cisco, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk621/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094954.shtml, but I continue without understanding it. Don't we have any improve using RSTP instead of 802.1d about the diameter?
