Guys, The Tasks states:
"Configure the physical serial interfaces on R6 and R9 to use frame-relay encapsulation. These interfaces should also be configured to adhere to RFC 1490 standards. Configure sub-interface 69 on R9. Use 150.50.69.0/30 subnet. Use DLCI 969." I configured everything correctly (sub-interfaces, point-to-point, interface dlci, etc.) with one big exception. Instead of using frame-relay switching I turned off keepalives (back to back configuration). My question isn't how to configure frame switch, its what was the key in the question to "know" to use frame switching instead of just a back to back configuration? Thanks -Rob
