I joined a telecom after an enterprize and i am facing a lot of diffculties in understanding the concept of physical connectivity, such as:- How E1/T1 connectivity are done, are they connected to serial, aux or any specific port shoul be there? what is channelized connection and are they physically exist or its a term used for logical connection. There are different type of connection like E1, T1, OC3, POS, STM. I have seen port/ card for OC3 and POS but are there any port/card available for E1, T1, STM. What type of port are used for these kind of connection.
