Great blog, I just changed my homepage from Google to the DocCD in hopes of 
mastering it along with everything else CCIE related!

There you go. Now, spending time on DocCD is not something you should
skip. When you go to CCIE lab, you should know everything on the
blueprint. I can *guarantee* that you will be in the situation that
you are not sure about something and that you need to look it up. It
could be a deal-breaker if you need 30 seconds or 10 minutes to find
what you need to read for 2 minutes.
