I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this or not, but I've been working through Vol2 Lab4 and noticed I didn't have connectivity over my ethernet interface between R7 and R8. I scoured the configs for anything I could find but turned up nothing. I realized that I had no ARP entries for either R7 or R8 but I was receiving multicast packets on the interface.
A debug arp returned the following: Apr 10 11:37:05.979: IP ARP req filtered src 150.20.87.7 0013.c3df.20f9, dst 150.20.87.8 0000.0000.0000 wrong cable, interface FastEthernet0/1 Is this an intended part of the lab or is something screwed up? Thanks! Jon
