Hi, I understand the need to change the R2 s0/1/0 and R4 settings to accomodate the several authentication keys for RIP. 1- What I would like to understand is why we are making R2 S0/1/0.25 and s0/10/.26 multipoint interfaces. Could not we just make them point-to-point?
2- This is my setting for R4, R5 and R6 interfaces. Is this OK? R4 interface s0/0/0 shut encap frame no frame inverse interface s0/0/0.42 point-to-point ip add 150.100.24.4 255.255.255.0 frame-relay interface-dlci 402 exit no shut R5 interface s0/1/0 shut encap frame no frame inverse interface s0/1/0.52 multipoint ip add 150.100.100.2 255.255.255.0 frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.2 502 b frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.6 502 frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.5 502 exit no shut R6 interface s0/1/0 shut encap frame no frame inverse interface s0/1/0.62 multipoint ip add 150.100.100.6 255.255.255.0 frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.2 602 b frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.5 602 frame-relay map ip 150.100.100.6 602 exit Thanks & Regards Bauke
