The answer is you do not HAVE to have 3 sub-AS'.  There are multiple
ways to solve this task without breaking the rules.  You could have
put R5 and R6 into the same sub-AS and done just fine so long as R2
only has a single iBGP and a single eBGP neighbor for AS 109.
