MPLS Fundamentals by Luc De Ghein is pretty good.

I read CCIE R+S exam cert guide.
Routing TCP/IP vol 1 + 2 (there are a few sections you can skip like ISIS)
and an MPLS book (can't remeber if it was MPLS basics or MPLS and VPN
architectures)

Do you already have your CCNA and CCNP or are you diving straight into the
CCIE? How much experience do you have with Cisco? These questions will help
determine where you are at and what you need to do in order to get where you
want to go

The Cisco Press R&S Official Guide could do the job for the written. Even
the MPLS part if enough to pass the written. The 2010 version.

I used CCIE Routing and Switching Exam Certification Guide 4th edition, it's
a great book.
