By default all vlan's except the native will be tagged, the native will
untagged all the way through.
Here is an example
int gig1/1
switchport
switchport trunk encap dot1q
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 7,8,9
switchport trunk native vlan 7
With the commands above we are allowing vlan 7, 8 , and 9 across the trunk, and
by default only 8 and 9 will be tagged, since 7 is the native vlan it will be
sent untagged.
It is possible to tag the native vlan as well in which case all vlan's will be
tagged. The command for this would be
vlan dot1q tag native
