Hello, The task is as follow : 'configure R5 to send snmp trap if if no traffic for the Group 231.12.12.100 is seen withtin 5 seconds of interval" length windows should be 10 seconds'
The guide answer is : ip multicast hearbet 231.12.12.100 5 5 10 For me this means that during 5 consecutive windows of 10 seconds the router should see mcast traffic to the group 5 times. and it doesn't answer to the minimal of 5 seconds before sending trap. As the windows value is minimal 10 seconds I don't understand how can we answer this questions. Or I misunderstand the way to use the values. Thanks for the clarification. Regards
