I dont think you will be asked too much about IPS related questions in the R&S Lab.
Lets check the blueprint... https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/docs/DOC-4375 Says "implement IPS" at 6.08. Compare this to the amount of detail about OSPF and spanning-tree (one line vs numerous lines) And the security blueprint: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/docs/DOC-5274 Look how much there is about IPS there. Generally the amount of detail listed in the blueprint correlates to the amount of knowledge required in the test. But I am sure you will practice it all anyway and know how to find quickly in the documentation :) HTH Cheers, Matt CCIE #22386 CCSI #31207 On 10 October 2010 09:15, Mark Hanley <[email protected]> wrote: > In the lab exam, if we get questions for the IOS IPS, will we have to load > the definitions, or will they be preloaded for us? > > > > Thx > > _______________________________________________ > For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please > visit www.ipexpert.com > > _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
