OK, so can we know the exact increased time interval for LSA flooding? Is it
documented at all?

I know this is not important for the exam, I would just like to know. :)

Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_RS] OSPF: flood-reduction and/or database-filter all
out?

Hi,

OSPF needs to refresh his LSA’s every 30 min, flood-reduction comes in order to
minimize this behavior by increasing the interval (to 50 min for example).
Database-filter filters LSA exchange between two neighbors where adjacency is
still remains.

Can somebody explain the exact difference between these two? Maybe I should
rephrase that... I found adequate info on the database-filter command, and can
understand its purpose. But I cannot find anything detalied enough for the
flood-reduction command.

Doc-CD is not useful for these commands, in my opinion. Not much info there.
