Did you try: sh ip protocols
The output of this command should show this line:
Default version control: send version 2, receive version 2
or whatever you have configured.

I have used RIP version 1 on one router and rip version 2 on another. when i 
checked, not getting proper routes vice-versa. can u pls suggest.

Is there any command to check which version of RIP is running router?
