Hi All,
After the redistribution i try to ping 150.10.101.101 (loopback of Cat1)
from R9 , but unfortunately i cannot...
When i check the ip routes on R1 and R2 i got this ..
R1(config-router)#do sh ip route 150.10.101.101
Routing entry for 150.10.101.101/32
Known via "rip", distance 120, metric 1
Redistributing via rip
Last update from 150.20.110.101 on FastEthernet0/0, 00:00:01 ago
Routing Descriptor Blocks:
* 150.20.110.101, from 150.20.110.101, 00:00:01 ago, via FastEthernet0/0
Route metric is 1, traffic share count is 1
( As per default nature this R1 advertise to R2 only 150.10.0.0/16 , the qn
stats don't configure "no auto "under rip to R1)
R2#
Dec 16 01:06:42.759: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by console
R2#sh ip route 150.10.101.101
Routing entry for 150.10.96.0/20
Known via "ospf 1", distance 110, metric 20, type extern 2, forward metric
3
Redistributing via rip
Advertised by rip metric 4
Last update from 150.20.25.5 on Multilink1, 00:16:17 ago
Routing Descriptor Blocks:
* 150.20.25.5, from 6.6.6.6, 00:16:17 ago, via Multilink1
Route metric is 20, traffic share count is 1
R2#
So R2's routing table indicate the longest prefix match (the summary
address advertise by cat3 and cat4 ) learning through R5.
For reachable to 150.10.101.101 do we have any solution ???
Advance thanks for your valuable answers..
