Experts, I just completed LAB 8 of volume 3, section 2.1 leads you to create an interesting WAN topology, and section 3.3 enables OSPF over that topology.
My configuration in section 2.1 lacked these commands on my virtual interface. ppp multilink ppp multilink links minimum 3 mandatory Furthermore, I did not and still do not understand the need for the ip unnumberd solution in 3.3 I was getting results with a route to the correct next hop, but down the wrong PVC! The IP unnumbered approach in the DSG fixed everything, but I don't know why? What does IP unnumbered buy you with OSPF ? What was happening to screw up my routes? Thanks in advance Patrick A.
